Dean Kriste Lindenmeyer and the Department of Political Science at Rutgers University–Camden invite you to the tenth annual presentation featuring “China: The Challenge Facing America in the Pacific” by Dr. Stephen D. Bryen, CCAS ’64.

About the speaker:

Dr. Bryen has 40 years of experience in government and industry. He served as a senior staff director of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and as the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Trade Security Policy. He was the founder and first director of the Defense Technology Security Administration and the President of Finmeccanica North America. He was also a Commissioner of the U.S. China Security Review Commission. Prior to his government career, Dr. Bryen was Assistant Professor of Government at Lehigh University. He is the founder of SDB Partners, a government marketing team of senior professionals and leaders with proven track records in government marketing and sales. Dr. Bryen’s extensive experience and high effectiveness has earned him the highest civilian awards of the U.S. Defense Department on two occasions and established him as a proven government, civic and business leader in Washington D.C. and internationally. He is the author of three books, numerous articles, and author of chapters in compendiums on technology and strategy.

This Lecture Series was established by Rutgers–Camden alumnus Jeffrey I. Baron as part of the Jacob Abraham and Mildred Amelia Baron Fund to provide academic enrichment to undergraduate students in Political Science at the Camden College of Arts and Sciences.
